Our client, the world’s largest and oldest volunteer reproductive health care organization, had core business systems that over time had evolved independently and were no longer meeting the needs of the organization.
Management also recognized business process improvement opportunities existed throughout the organization and understood that an enterprise-wide approach was required for the organization to realize maximum benefits from systems and process improvements.
The two primary objectives of the project were to develop and execute a strategic information technology plan (SITP) identifying how the organization could use technology to achieve its mission, goals and objectives, and to develop and execute a business process improvement (BPI) plan determining ways to improve policies, procedures and processes.
