RSM McGladrey named to Top 500 Technology Integrators list

Named by Everything Channel as one of North America’s top technology integrators, newcomer McGladrey earned its spot on the annual VAR500 ranking coming in at No. 298.
The value-added resellers (VARs) on the list represent leading revenue producers among technology integrators and solution providers. The list’s ranking is based on gross worldwide revenue of hardware and software sales, as well as earnings from professional and managed information technology (IT) services.
Managing Directors Tom Dobosenski and JB Overstreet travelled to New York City where JB accepted the award. “I think this award is proof that McGladrey is committed to its IT consulting practices,” says JB. “With $93 million in IT revenue, we’re not just a small player in the IT reseller arena. Our goal next year is to make a substantial move closer to the top.”
To determine the 2009 ranking of the 500 largest North American solution providers, system integrators, VARs and IT consultants, companies completed an online questionnaire. Everything Channel then conducted extensive research and analyzed the data. Independent data sourcing, e.g., SEC filings, annual reports, etc., also was conducted. Finalists were ranked according to their fiscal year 2008 revenue, based only on their reseller-related services business.
